Our facilities include a cozy pet shop and a welcoming pub, which can be rented for both small gatherings and larger celebrations. From time to time, we also host lively pub evenings with live music. 

Just across the road, the river flows peacefully by. Here, our jetty and barbecue area await you—perfect for a summer evening by the water. Rent our sauna and round off the experience with a refreshing swim in the river, which warms up invitingly during the summer months. 

For families and water-lovers, there’s also a beautiful outdoor swimming pool nearby, open all summer and completely free to use. The pool area has modern changing rooms with hot showers and toilets. 

Winter in Björbo is just as magical. The local ice rink, only a stone’s throw away, opens for public skating during the cold season. The river freezes over with thick ice, and when the ice road is plowed, you can go skating, cross-country skiing, or enjoy long winter walks in sparkling sunshine and crisp, frosty air. 

A short distance from Länsmansgården you’ll also find an illuminated track for jogging or walking. From here, trails wind into the surrounding forest, offering peaceful hikes and a chance to truly connect with nature. For those seeking adventure, Stora Byrtjärnen and Glasögontjärn provide scenic wind shelters where you can grill over an open fire—or try your luck fishing for rainbow trout. On the ridge above Björbo stands a lookout tower with breathtaking views stretching all the way to Dala-Floda and Nås. Deeper into the ridge, you’ll find Kapplakojan, a rustic wilderness cabin where you can stay overnight. With heating facilities, bunks for sleeping bags, and a sturdy table with benches, it’s the perfect base for an authentic nature experience. The forest here is partly untouched primeval woodland with majestic giant pines—a rare and unforgettable sight.
