Visit Länsmansgården in Björbo!

​​Länsmansgården in Björbo is a charming hostel set in a harmonious environment, beautifully located by the Västerdal River – right in the heart of Sweden’s rapids country. Here, you’ll stay close to nature while still enjoying plenty of modern comforts. 

The hostel offers four cozy rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. All rooms are located in the house next to the historic manor building, where you’ll also find our rustic pub with seating for about 35 guests – perfect to rent for private celebrations, dinners, or events. For a touch of extra fun, a ping-pong table is also available. 

For relaxation, we offer a sauna, and just 15 meters away across the village road flows the river. Here, you can use our jetty for a refreshing swim – perhaps after the sauna, or simply whenever you feel like it. By the jetty you’ll also find a barbecue area, ideal for cozy evenings by the water. And if you’re feeling adventurous, why not try your luck fishing in the river? 

For larger groups, there is also a dining hall available for dinners or conferences. Meals are provided via catering from our local restaurants, and the nearest restaurant is only 2.5 km away, serving all kinds of dishes with a full bar license. 

All year round, the area offers countless opportunities for outdoor activities – from hiking, swimming, and fishing in summer, to skating, skiing, and sparkling winter walks on the frozen river in winter.

​Länsmansgården in Björbo is a hostel in a harmonious environment by the river Västerdalälven in the center of the rapids. 
The hostel has 4 rooms and a kitchen.
All rooms are located in the house next to the manor building where there is a pub with rustic tables and space for approx. 35 people that you can rent for your own celebrations and events. 
Ping-pong tables are also available for rent and by the river that runs about 15 m on the other side of the village street, you can borrow the dock and barbecue area and take a refreshing dip in the river while taking a sauna bath at the same time, or why not try your luck fishing. 
There is also a dining room for hire for dinners and conferences. 
Food is served via catering from our restaurants in the resort.
The nearest restaurant is 2.5 km away, where all types of food are served.
